What We Do
At Breaking Boundaries Community, we believe that sports can be the greatest vehicle for change. We’re committed to empowering youth and women through the game of lacrosse, creating opportunities, and building cross-cultural connections.
Our mission is twofold:
-
Provide children in Africa with access to education, opportunity, and hope.
-
Empower women athletes, creating spaces for leadership and personal growth.
Through lacrosse, we break down barriers, uniting communities across the globe in the shared pursuit of growth, opportunity, and empowerment.
Our Impact: Breaking Boundaries Across the Globe

Our work extends across continents, creating opportunities and lasting change.
In Kenya, we’re raising $10,000 to provide a school bus for Jamii School in Eldoret, Langas slums—giving children reliable access to the education they deserve.
In South Africa, we’re working with the national lacrosse team to raise $100,000, equipping women athletes with the resources and support they need to thrive in the sport.
Every donation and every action brings us closer to these goals, transforming lives and shaping brighter futures.

Bring Mobility & Opportunity: Help Kenyan Children Get a School Bus
A school bus for Jamii School isn’t just transportation—it’s opportunity. It’s the difference between a child making it to class or staying home. It’s safety on dangerous roads, consistency in their education, and a chance to build a future without the daily barrier of distance. Help us raise $10,000 to get these kids to school, where they belong.

The South African Women’s Lacrosse Team is fighting for more than just a championship—they’re fighting for opportunity, representation, and the future of women’s sports in their country. With limited resources and funding, their journey to the Women's World Championship is anything but easy. Your support helps provide the training, equipment, and travel they need to compete on the world stage. Every dollar brings them one step closer to making history.
Past Projects

In 2017, we brought 27 volunteers to Kenya to complete four impactful community service projects. We built a mud hut for a widow, helped an AIDS community in Kangundo, supported the construction of a women's clinic, and hosted soccer games with kids from four schools. It was a life-changing experience for both the volunteers and the communities they served.

In 2022, BBC supported the Ugandan Women’s Lacrosse Team in their bid to attend the World Lacrosse Championship. Despite raising $80,000 out of a $100,000 goal, visa issues prevented the team from competing. This setback was heartbreaking for the team and BBC, but their spirit remained strong, and we are proud to have stood by them.
